Clay Geary

Clay Geary is an analyst at True North Mergers & Acquisitions, supporting deal execution efforts across the firm that focus on business brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory services. Additional responsibilities include industry and financial analysis and market research. He gained experience in private equity as an intern for a locally-based PE firm assisting in the acquisition process, conducting research and outreach to qualified businesses, and engaging in due diligence regarding potential acquisitions.

Clay is a graduate and former student-athlete from the University of Minnesota–Carlson School of Management with a triple major in finance, entrepreneurial management, and marketing. Post-undergrad, Clay pursued a postbaccalaureate certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation to gain a deeper understanding of the innovation journey (from idea generation and opportunity identification to business planning, funding, product development, testing, and managing a growing business).
