Ryan Zimmerman

Ryan joined Sunbelt Business Advisors and True North Mergers & Acquisitions in 2024 as a Business Development Executive and currently serves as Channel Manager.

Ryan is a proud alumnus of the University of St. Thomas, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Financial Management. He has previously worked at a financial advising firm at Ameriprise Financial as a Client Service Representative, where he found his passion for creating personal and meaningful relationships with his team members and clients.

Ryan has had a unique career path as he started his professional life playing 8 years of professional baseball. He has played internationally in Australia, Venezuela, and Canada. In the US, he started his playing career for 3 seasons with the St. Paul Saints and was a member of the 2019 championship team. He then went on to play in Wisconsin for the Milwaukee Milkmen for 3 years. He finished his playing career for 2 seasons with the Sioux Falls Canaries, a team that is a part of the True North Family of Companies. He also served as the team's pitching coach while in Sioux Falls, a role in which he learned valuable leadership and communication skills that he utilizes in his current role with our team.

In his time playing baseball, Ryan learned the importance of teamwork and found personal elevation through hard work and team success, and he is proud to have found a team at Sunbelt and True North that identify on the same foundations.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys golfing, spending time at the cabin, and traveling with his wife, family, and friends.
