Randy Krivo

Prior to joining True North M&A, Randy had 35 years of experience in Business Ownership, Management, Sales and Marketing, and Business Consulting. He brings unique insight to buying and selling a business, as he is a former business owner of several small to mid-market sized, privately held companies in the Manufacturing, Distribution, and Services industries. As a True North M&A Managing Director and Senior Advisor, he is driven by a desire to help business owners explore and understand their options as they plan for and eventually exit their business.

After a successful sales and marketing career with Fortune 500 companies, Randy pursued his dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Over the course of 20 years, he founded, acquired, merged, and/or sold four different companies. This background has provided Randy with a personal understanding of not only the complexities of managing and growing a business, but how to deal with the nuances and emotional challenges of selling it.

Randy is proud to be one of only three individuals to have earned membership in the True North M&A/Sunbelt Hall of Fame. He is an annual President’s Club award winner and consistently ranks at or near the top in terms of number of engagements and dollar volume of businesses sold. In recognition of his accomplishments, Randy was named M&A Advisor of the Year in 2022, Broker of the Year in 2021 and 2017, received the 2015 Sunbelt Torch Award, and numerous Quartermaster awards. Because of his well-rounded business background, Randy is a generalist at True North M&A and works with lower middle market businesses in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, retailing, technology, services, and healthcare related businesses. Since coming to True North M&A in 2013, Randy has been involved in the sale of nearly 200 businesses with a combined enterprise value in excess of $250 million.

Randy has a BSBA degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
