Megan Slipka brings a genuine passion for people to everything she does at True North Mergers & Acquisitions. Since joining the team in 2021, she has led the firm's recruiting efforts and built a thriving internship program that gives students a meaningful introduction to the world of M&A. Whether guiding an intern through their first professional experience or helping shape the culture of the True North team, Megan's dedication to developing others is evident in all that she does.
Before joining True North, Megan spent her career as an elementary school teacher. She earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota. Her passion for mentoring and bringing out the best in people has carried seamlessly into her role at True North, where she takes great pride in helping students take their first steps toward meaningful careers.
Outside of work, Megan is a co-founder of the True North Family Foundation alongside her husband, a proud mom to her son and daughter, and someone who loves exercise, long walks, and time with her family.
