Michael Wheelock is a Senior Advisor with True North Mergers & Acquisitions and has more than 25 years of experience advising privately held companies on ownership transitions, liquidity events, and strategic transactions. An entrepreneur from an early age, Michael participated as part of the team that secured a multi-year distribution agreement with a national railway company before earning his Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. He later founded Investment Concepts, a full-service brokerage firm that was ultimately acquired by a regional investment firm.
Throughout his career, Michael has advised founders, entrepreneurs, and shareholders across a broad range of industries, helping them navigate complex transactions and achieve successful outcomes. As part of the True North Mergers & Acquisitions team, he works closely with management teams, attorneys, accountants, lenders, and investors to create competitive transaction processes and maximize shareholder value.
